Alex's Birthday!

Silly Monkey boy turned 6! Man I feel old!!! In honor of him being 6 here are 6 things we love about Alex:

1. Every morning he comes in and he pats my cheeks and ask me how I slept.

Tooth Fairy--#3

Ok seriously I am not going to blog every tooth this kid loses but I thought it was funny another one has fallen out so soon!! That Tooth Fairy is going to be broke!! He pulled this one out himself (at school nontheless) and said "Look, I'm a walrus". Love that walrus grin!!!

Tooth Fairy Give Me Money---AGAIN!!

Ok I am sensing a pattern here--Monday night Alex is feeling a little poor so he decides to lose another tooth!! It was the buddy of the one he lost last week!! He's so cute and says "Mom, don't see the tooth fairy cuz I want her to leave me money, so close my door please!!" Geez!!!

Flashback Friday--the 13th edition

So it's Friday the 13th. I was trying to decide if I should post about superstitions or scary movies. On my walk this morning I saw a black cat so superstitions won. I overall am not superstitious--but I do have a weirdness about the number 13. I can't let anything stay on that number or have that amount in it. Its almost automatic--my radio can't stay on volume 13, it either goes up or down one--I know weird. So having said that---are you superstitious. And if you are what is it???

End of Soccer

Soccer season is over. We had a great one. AJ got better at passing and Alex got to play his first season--making quite a few goals. True there aren't goalies but still. Even the weather was nice for the most part. GREAT JOB boys!!!!

Tooth Fairy--give me money!!

For Family Home evening Alex wanted to pull his tooth out. So after the lesson I told him to come see me and I wiggled and pulled out his tooth without him even realizing it. I nudged him and showed him the tooth in my hand and he stuck his tongue in the space and started jumping up and down yelling "I loosed a tooth, I loosed a tooth". Its so exciting for them--gross out to me!!! He hopes the tooth fairy will leave him some money--big brother is filling him in on all the details.
