We finally did it!! We got new carpet. This has been needed for a LONG time but we were too lazy to move our furniture out so we could get new carpet---but since we decided to move out and then move back we said hey let's get new carpet! I love the smell of new carpet! These pics dont do it justice. I invite anyone who wants to to come over and lie down and sniff the bounties of new carpetdom!!!
Blue is the old (DUH!) and beautiful brownish is the new (DUH again)

That's great, I know how good it feels to get new carpet.
Tips: get one of those big plastic things for under your computer chair. We regret not doing that.
careful of the lotion,it leaves spots. Ours is already spotty from spills.
don't get a dog. (we got ours the same weekend as the new carpet. BAD idea)
And NEVER NEVER NEVER leave the vaseline near your kids. I know they're not 2 but still.
